Description
Anger tells a story about the kind of relationship we have with our body feelings, emotions and thoughts as we react to events. This relationship to anger might seem impossible to change without surrendering our personal values and identity, but our suffering depends on how well we can explain it to ourselves.
Smooth Sailing is an eight-week course is arranged to improve insight and unravel the complicated relationships we have with anger. Using Attachment, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Approaches, this workshop will inspire you to develop solutions for anger through reflection, insight, and new choices.

Week 1: Evolving Stories – History and the Sociobiology of Anger
Week 2: Your Story – Anger Styles, Values and Self-Awareness
Week 3: Attachment Story – Attachment Theory and Parts
Week 4: Processing Anger Memory – Attachment/Mindfulness
Week 5: Releasing Anger – Self-Compassion & Stress Reduction
Week 6: Communicating & Listening Differently – CBT/Assertiveness
Week 7: Having a New Relationship with Anger – CBT/Mindfulness
Week 8: Putting the Story Together & Evaluation – Summary
