Here at Aulneau Renewal Centre, we run a yearly 24-week DBT Skills Group for teens and their parents/caregivers. This group may be beneficial for youth who often feel overwhelmed by their feelings and emotions, struggle with self-harm and/or thoughts of suicide, and are looking to develop or improve their social-emotional skills and for caregivers who want to learn more about how to support their teens with their struggles. This course is intended to teach skills in the following domains: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and walking the middle path. This is a 24-week in-person group that will be held weekly and run from 6 PM to 8 PM. The cost for these group sessions will be determined on a sliding scale basis and based on household income.

We are currently not accepting registrations for the 2024-2025 program. If you have any questions about our DBT skills programming, please contact Grace at grace.pagtakhan@aulneau.com.
